John Jonston and Archibald Campbell "officially" started making Whisky in 1816. The distillery is famous for their extra-long, low & slow distillation process and the unique, pear-shaped stills. In 2022, a special release of Lagavulin 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch was drawn from a combination of virgin oak casks and smokiest reserves. It’s an iconic Islay Malt that’s intense and smoky with a deep sweetness and some crackling spice. Steeped in over 200 years of history, the initial sweetness masterfully turns into lemony notes and then into light sea salt, ending with smoky intensity. Take your Whisky glass and serve it neat or with a few drops of water to sweeten it even more.
